This article outlines the testing procedure for LeasingAI during your EliseAI Onboarding Phase. This procedure ensures that LeasingAI Outreach works appropriately and consistently for all your residents.

Allowlist Testing
Prior to launch, EliseAI's implementation team runs end-to-end allowlist testing for your LeasingAI product. This is a series of validations that ensures:
- All your communities are set up properly.
- All your external data sources are working properly.
- Your external PMS/CRM can handle imports and exports.
- Your AI Assistant can handle conversations and requests.
- All checkers have been passed.
Once your communities are set up, your team can submit test leads and assess your AI Assistant's performance. You can assign several team members to serve as test leads and use the common testing questions outlined below.
Submit Test Leads
Follow these steps to submit and manage test leads:
- Navigate to a community's property website or Internet Listing Service (ILS) contact form.
- Enter a unique variation of your email address. This must follow the format "yourname+test@gmail.com." You will receive communications from your AI Assistant via email.
- Submit the contact form using the unique email address you created.
- NOTE: You can also submit test leads directly from within the AI Portal if your user permissions allow this. See Prospect Guest Cards > Create a Prospect Guest Card section for instructions on adding leads directly in the AI Portal.
- Monitor AI engagement. After submitting the test lead, navigate to the Prospect Contacts page of your AI Portal. Here, you can review how the AI communicates with test leads to ensure it reaches out and responds as expected.
- See LeasingAI Outreach Messages and Follow Ups for your AI Assistant's standard outreach language and follow up cadence.
- See the Common Prospect Messages for Testing section for messages you can send to your AI Assistant.
- Review and adjust as needed. If the AI does not respond as expected, you can:
- Double check that your unique email email address works.
- Troubleshoot your property website's form submission.
- Update your Knowledge Base to ensure it contains accurate and up-to-date information.
- Update your LeasingAI Settings to adjust your AI Assistant's personality and primary goals.
- Update your Calendar and Tours Settings to configure office hours, tour types offered, and specific tour type settings.
- Once you complete your test, cancel the test lead guest cards in your AI Portal. This ensures that the test lead does not affect your leasing metrics or CRM/PMS performance.
- Click the status dropdown menu at the top of the guest card and select No Longer a Prospect.
- Type Test Lead into the Enter cancellation notes text box.
- Click Submit at the bottom of the window.

Test VoiceAI for Leasing
If your organization is launching VoiceAI for leasing, you can test your VoiceAI Assistant by calling your EliseAI vanity numbers or designated property numbers.
Complete VoiceAI setup before conducting any tests. See the following articles for instructions on VoiceAI setup.
Once you complete setup, call the number for each community launched on VoiceAI. You can ask questions listed in the Common Prospect Messages section.
You can also test your AI Assistant's ability to transfer calls. See the section below for instructions.
Test VoiceAI Transfers
Follow the steps below to test VoiceAI transfers to your leasing team.
During Office Hours:
- Call the VoiceAI number.
- Tell your AI Assistant that you would like to speak with a representative.
- When the AI Assistant asks what you are calling about, respond with one of the leasing team's responsibilities, such as applications or tour follow-up.
- Confirm that the AI offers to transfer you and calls the correct number.
After Office Hours:
- Call the VoiceAI number.
- Tell your AI Assistant that you would like to speak with a representative.
- When the AI Assistant asks what you are calling about, respond with one of the leasing team's responsibilities, such as applications or tour follow-up.
- Confirm that the AI offers to take a message.
- Navigate to your AI Portal's Tasks page. Check that your AI Assistant created a Call Back task for the call you placed.
Common Prospect Messages for Testing
This section lists common prospect messages and questions to test on your LeasingAI Assistant. The specific answers provided by your AI Assistant may depend on your organization's Leasing Settings, Calendar Settings, and Knowledge Base.
