To integrate your AppFolio PMS with EliseAI, you must set up a scheduled export in AppFolio using Report Builder. This ensures that your AI Assistant can access your property data and share accurate information with prospects.
You do not need to download the report. Instead, the report will import directly into EliseAI

Step 1: Navigate to Report Builder
Start the process by navigating to AppFolio's Report Builder.
- Log in to AppFolio.
- Click Reports at the top of the page.
- Click Report Builder. If you don’t see this right away, look for an item called Custom Reports or Report Builder under the Reports menu.
Step 2: Start a New Report
Next, start a new report that combines Rent Roll and Vacancy data.
- In Report Builder, click New Report (or Create Report).
- For Report Type (or data source):
- Select Rent Roll first.
- Include Vacancy data if there’s an option to add another source. This may be labelled “Add dataset”, “Add source”, or similar.
- If you cannot find this option, continue to the next step.

Give the report a name so you can track it easily. For example:
“Elise AI – Rent Roll + Vacancy Export”
Step 3: Select Columns
In Report Builder, locate the tool for adding columns. This may be called Fields, Columns, or Data Fields.
Add all of these columns to the report, in this exact order:
- Property Name
- Property Address
- Tags
- Floor Plan
- BD/BA
- Sqft
- Market Rent
- Advertised Rent
- Amenities
- Rent Ready
- Unit
- Unit Status
- Rent Ready
- Available On
- Next Move In
- Ready For Showing On
- Unit Turn Target Date
NOTE: If you cannot find a column with an exact name match, select the closest possible match.
Step 4: Save the Report
After you add columns, click Save (or Save Report). Double-check that the name is easily identifiable so EliseAI can locate the report.
Step 5: Set Up a Scheduled Export
Once you save the report, you can set up the scheduled export:
- Look for a button labelled:
- Schedule, Schedule Report, Schedule Export, or Email/Schedule.
- Click on the button.
- Select the following options:
- Format: CSV
- Frequency: Daily
- Add your CSM's Email Address in the Recipients / Email field.
- Save the schedule to complete setup.
