Use the EliseAI Portal Task Page to manage your organization's leasing and resident tasks.
Respond to tasks quickly so prospects and residents get the information they need, and so your AI Assistant can learn from replies.

Tasks Page Overview
You can view your organization's Task Queue in the left sidebar of the Tasks Page.
Click a task to open its linked guest card, conversation, and/or workflow.
Complete the task by responding to the prospect or resident, or by filling in required information.
You can manage conversation-based tasks (e.g. Needs Reply, Call Back) with the buttons at the bottom of the conversation window.

Click Add Internal Note to add a note or tag an agent in a conversation.
- Tagging an agent assigns them a Mention Task to complete.
- Internal notes are not visible to prospects or residents.
- Click Add Reminder to send an agent a Reminder Task to follow up at a specified time.
- Click Re-assign Task to assign management of a task to an agent. The assigned task appears in the agent's task queue.
- Click Dismiss to remove the task from your queue. You must select a dismissal reason before removing the task. As a best practice, include an internal note on how you resolved the task.
Use the filters at the top of the sidebar to sort your tasks queue.
You can filter your queue by:
- Community
- Assigned Agent
- Prospects / Residents: View tasks related to Leasing, Residents, or both.
- Task Types: See section below for descriptions of each task type.
The top right of the sidebar displays the number of tasks in the filtered queue.
Task Types
This section describes each task type available in the Task Page:
- Needs Reply
- Proactive Lead Action / Follow Up
- Call Back
- Missed Call
- Tour Follow Up
- Notice to Vacate
- Eviction and Demand Notice Tasks
- Mention
- Reminder
NOTE: Some task types may not be available to your organization. Your available task types depend on:
- The EliseAI products you use
- For instance, you cannot view Eviction Notice Generation tasks if you do not use DelinquencyAI.
- Your external PMS and CRM, if applicable
Contact Support if you cannot view a task type you expect to see.
Needs Reply
When your AI Assistant needs help responding to a prospect or resident, it creates a Needs Reply task.
For instance, a prospect may ask for unit information that is not listed in the AI Assistant's Knowledge Base. Or a resident may request to speak with a live agent about a payment plan.
Complete Needs Reply tasks by responding to a prospect or resident. You can also tag another agent or dismiss the task.
Proactive Lead Action / Follow Up
You can opt in to receive Proactive Lead Action / Follow Up tasks. Reach out to your CSM or Contact Support to enable this feature.
Our system creates a Proactive Lead Action (or Follow Up) task when:
- A prospect becomes unresponsive to the AI Assistant.
- A prospect contacts your leasing office but does not opt in to SMS communication. In this case, the AI Assistant cannot engage with the prospect due to legal restrictions.
NOTE: These tasks are labelled as Proactive Lead Action in the Task Type filter, and as Follow Up in your Task Queue.
Complete Proactive Lead Action/Follow Up tasks by calling or messaging the prospect.
You can also:
- Tag another agent
- Mark the lead as lost
- Dismiss the task
- Take over the lead in your external CRM, if applicable. Your ability to do this depends on the CRM you use. Reach out to your CSM or Contact Support for more information.
If you do not re-engage a prospect after a set period of time, the task expires and EliseAI marks the lead as lost. Contact Support to adjust your default expiration time.
Call Back
Our system creates a Call Back task when a prospect or resident requests a call with a live agent.
Complete Call Back tasks by calling the prospect or resident. You can also tag another agent or dismiss the task.
Missed Call
Our system creates Missed Call tasks when your office misses a call from a prospect or resident. This may occur when your VoiceAI Assistant transfers a call and no agents are available to answer.
Complete Missed Call tasks by following up with the prospect or resident. You can also tag another agent or dismiss the task.
Tour Follow Up
Our system creates Tour Follow Up tasks when a prospect's scheduled tour slot ends.
Complete Tour Follow Up tasks by selecting Shown or No Show in the dropdown menu, then clicking Complete.
Notice to Vacate
Our system creates Notice to Vacate tasks when residents express their intention to move out.
Complete Notice to Vacate tasks by selecting an option from the dropdown menu then clicking Confirm.

Eviction and Demand Notice Tasks
Our system creates the following tasks for each step of the Eviction and Demand Notice Generation workflow:
- Eviction Notice Generation
- Sign Before Serving Notice
- Serve Eviction Notice
- Eviction Risk
- Eviction Account Status Update
Complete these tasks by filling in the required information. See the Eviction and Demand Notice Generation article for detailed instructions.
Mention
You can create Mention tasks to tag an agent in a leasing or resident conversation:
- Click Add Internal Note at the bottom of a conversation window.
- Tag an agent to mention them in the conversation. This adds a Mention task to the agent's queue.
The tagged agent can complete the task by following up with the prospect or resident.
NOTE: EliseAI does not track Mention tasks for reporting purposes. See Dedupe Logic and Event Creation for more information.
Reminder
You can create Reminder tasks to set reminders for agents in leasing or resident conversations:
- Click Add Reminder at bottom of a conversation window.
- Use the Add Follow-Up Reminder window to:
- Assign an agent
- Set a due date
- Type a reminder message
- Click Send to create the reminder task.
The tagged agent can complete the task by following up with the prospect or resident.
You can also set Recurring Reminder tasks. See the Recurring Reminders section below for details.
