In some cases, the AI Portal creates guest cards without a full name. This results in placeholder entries like "Prospect", "Unknown, Unknown", or "[First Name], Unknown."
This article outlines how these guest cards are created and how you can manage their impact on your CRM.
Why "Unknown" Guest Cards Occur
Guest cards may contain "Unknown" values when a prospect:
- Provides only their first time.
- Skips the name question entirely during initial engagement.
Examples:
- A guest card with only a first name provided may appear as John Unknown.
- A guest card with no name provided at all appears as Unknown Unknown.
"Unknown" guest cards—like all other guest cards—are exported by default and can appear in your CRM. This may result in a higher volume of low quality or incomplete leads.
Disable "Unknown" Guest Card Exports
Contact Support to disable "Unknown" guest card exports to your CRM. While this may reduce the number of leads sent to your CRM, it may also significantly increase the quality of data received.
Best Practice: Improve Initial Name Collection
To minimize the creation of "Unknown" guest cards, you can:
-
Change your initial question flow to explicitly request both first and last names from the prospect.
- You can configure your LeasingAI Discovery Agent to do this. See the LeasingAI Discovery Agent article for more information.
- Ensure that form fields for name input are clear and required when possible.
Contact Support if you need additional help disabling exports or changing your name collection flow.
