How AI-Guided Tours Work
- The prospect schedules a tour through your existing ILS or any of EliseAI's chat, SMS, email, or voice channels
- EliseAI verifies the prospect's ID and, if desired, collects credit card information for any potential damages
- Once a prospect arrives for their tour, your AI Assistant sends a temporary pin code to unlock the lockbox(es) for retrieving keys/fobs or to unlock a smart pin pad lock
- During the tour, your AI Assistant shares a property map and engages with the prospect using data from your PMS, CRM, and Knowledge to provide up-to-date information
- Near the end of the tour, your AI Assistant will proactively ask the prospect for feedback, send the application link, and remind them to return any keys or fobs
- After the tour ends, your AI Assistant will automatically handle all post-tour follow-ups, just like it would for agent-led tours

Scheduling the Tour
Prospects can schedule an AI-guided tour through your existing ILS or any of EliseAI's chat, SMS, email, or voice channels. No matter how the lead reaches out, your AI Assistant will quickly understand their preferences and needs, and then encourage them to book a tour.
Once the tour is booked, your AI Assistant will send a confirmation message, including key details like the tour starting location and parking instructions, so that the prospect knows exactly what to expect when they arrive. Using familiar channels like SMS makes it easy for prospects to get the information they need without navigating multiple platforms or apps. All relevant information can be easily viewed in one place.
Preparing for the Tour
Your AI Assistant will also follow up with ID verification steps, and to collect credit card information if you would like to be able to charge prospects for lost keys and damages. Both of these steps are completed in their browser.
For identity verification, prospects will be asked to submit a photo of their government issued photo ID and to confirm their identity with a selfie. If identity verification fails after two attempts, the appointment will be automatically canceled. A task will be created in your AI portal so you can decide how to follow up with the prospect from there.
If desired, credit card details can also be collected and safely stored in the event of a lost key or damage to the property.
Before the Tour
EliseAI integrates with both smart locks and smart lockboxes to provide temporary access codes to the prospect. Once set up, EliseAI will automatically generate unique one-time codes to facilitate AI-guided tour access, meaning there's little to no lock maintenance or upkeep required from your onsite team.
On the day of the tour, prospects will be greeted by a welcome sign and receive a message with lock access codes and other key details like how to begin the tour, which units and other amenities they will be able to view, and what to do at the conclusion of the tour. You can further customize this welcome message to highlight additional benefits at your property, such as special features or information about the surrounding area.
Walk-in prospects can even scan the QR code on the welcome sign to book an AI-guided tour on the spot, helping to boost your touring volume.
During the Tour
Once the tour begins, your AI Assistant is available to respond to any questions that might arise. Prospects can chat with the AI assistant through text, or they can call in to interact with your LeasingAI Discovery Agent.
Rather than reading through long blocks of printed texts, or navigating third party apps or QR codes, prospects will feel like they're chatting with a human in real time.
