EliseCRM's Resident Announcement feature allows property teams to easily mass message residents across one or multiple communities to share alerts, reminders, and other information. Resident announcements can be used to message all resident contacts, or to target specific groups of residents.

Select Your Target Communities
From the EliseCRM Contacts page, toggle to Resident contacts and click Create Resident
Announcement. Select the communities you would like to message. You can message residents
within one or multiple communities. Announcements can be created by community managers,
resident managers, and org administrators.
Choose a Delivery Channel & Compose Your Message
Messages can be delivered via SMS or email. SMS is best for urgent alerts, while email works
well for longer messages. Then, compose your message. You can also attach media files to your
message, such as flyers for resident events.
Filter Your Recipients
Use filters to target a more specific group of residents. You can filter by characteristics like
resident status, lease status, and renewal status. To message all current residents, simply set the
Resident Status filter to Current Resident, and leave other filters blank.
Review, Send, & Track Your Message
Double-check your audience and message content. Your announcement will go out exactly as
written, and to all residents for the selected communities and filters. Click Send to distribute.
Review past resident announcements by going to the Activity tab and selecting Mass Messages.
