The following is a guide to setup banner notifications for incoming calls within AI Portal. The banner results will look similar to the following:
Please ensure that all of the steps below are completed to display the banner notification for incoming calls:
- Ensure that you are enabled as a call center user (please check the VoiceHub page)
- To verify this is correctly configured for a specific building, the call icon for your profile should appear in the bottom left corner like the following:

Enable banners from within AI Portal
- The Banner Notifications toggle should be switched on
- The Banner Notifications toggle should be switched on
- Configure your computer settings to allow notifications from your browser (see Computer Support below)
- User has their browser and computer settings setup to receive banner notifications (please follow below depending on your system) (documentation part B)
Computer Support
macOS
After allowing notifications in your browser (Safari, Chrome, Firefox), you also need to enable notifications for the browser itself in System Preferences.
- Click on the Apple menu in the top left corner and select System Settings (or System Preferences in older versions)
- In the sidebar, find and click Notifications
- In the list of apps, locate the browser you are using (e.g., Safari, Google Chrome, or Firefox)

Ensure that the Allow Notifications toggle is switched on
- You can also customize the style of banner alerts (choose between None, Banners, or Alerts) and decide if you want sound or badges for notifications
Windows 10/11
For Windows, you also need to ensure that notifications are enabled at the system level.
- Press Win + I to open the Settings app
- Select System, then choose Notifications & actions from the sidebar
- Make sure that Get notifications from apps and other senders is turned on
- Scroll down to the Get notifications from these senders section and locate your browser (e.g., Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Firefox)

Desktop (Windows/Mac)
- Open Chrome and visit https://app.meetelise.com/
- Click the padlock icon to the left of the URL
- Select Site settings
- Scroll down to the Permissions section and locate Notifications
- In the dropdown next to Notifications, select Allow
- Close the Settings tab (the changes will be automatically saved)
Mobile (Android)
- Open Chrome and visit https://app.meetelise.com/
- Click the padlock icon next to the URL
- Locate Notifications and select Allow
Mobile (iOS)
Chrome on iOS doesn't support push notifications. Please use Safari if you're on iPhone or iPad.
Mozilla Firefox
Desktop (Windows/Mac)
- Open Firefox and visit https://app.meetelise.com/
- Click the padlock icon to the left of the URL
- In the dropdown, click More information or Permissions

Mobile (Android)
- Open Firefox and visit https://app.meetelise.com/
- If the website supports push notifications, a pop-up will appear asking for permission to send notifications
- Click Allow when prompted

Firefox on iOS doesn't support push notifications. Please use Safari if you're on iPhone or iPad.

- Open Safari and visit https://app.meetelise.com/
- In the top menu, click Safari > Preferences
- In Preferences, click on the Websites tab, then select Notifications from the sidebar
- Find https://app.meetelise.com/ in the list and set it to Allow
- When prompted by the website, click Allow to enable notifications

- If the website supports push notifications, a pop-up will appear asking for permission to send notifications
