Create a Billing/Payment Interface User for MeetElise

This needs to be done by your Yardi System Administrator.

What's an Interface User?

The Interface User functionality enables EliseAI to access data from Voyager without direct login capabilities, ensuring data security. Additionally, this integration won't affect your license count.

1. Under the Billing & Payment Interface > Create a new user
2. Enter the Name: ‘EliseCollect’ and Code: ‘elisebp’
3. Review and Save

Configure Billing & Payment Access for Elise

This allows your AI to sync your payment and resident data properly. Plugin version 7 is required.

Finding the EliseCollect User

1. From the sidebar, click Interfaces > Review Interface Vendors.
2. Under "Entity Type", make sure to select Billing & Payment
3. Click Submit.
4. An “Interface Configuration” pop-up will appear. Under “Search”, type in and select elisebp - EliseCollect. 

Configuring the User

1. 1. In the “Billing & Payment Configuration - EliseCollect” view, please set up as below:
      1. Import Transactions Options
         1. Check Import Receipt Batches As Posted 
         2. Check Import Charge Batches As Posted
         3. Check Import Payable Batches As Posted 
         4. Default Receipt Display Type: Standard Receipt Display Type
         5. Default Charge Display Type: Standard Charge Display Type
      2. Export Tenant Options
         1. Include residents moved out within last “90” days
         2. Check Include Billing Account Information:
         3. Check Include Open Charges: 
         4. Check Include Service Dates With Billing Account Information:
         5. Check Include Additional Fields (Display Type):
   2. Save.
